Introduction:

Hafiz Zubair Alizai (rahimahullah) was born in a small village of Punjab, Pakistan called 'Pirdad' on 25th of June 1957 A.D ( i.e Zul Qada 27th, 1376 hijri A.H).

His ancestors were from Ghazni, Afghanistan. They belonged to the well known Pashtun tribe 'Alizai' hence Hafiz (rahimahullah) got his surname 'Alizai'.

He married in 1982 and Allah (S.W.T) blessed him with three sons and four daughters.

His sons; Abdullah Saqib and Muaz are Huffaz-e-Quran (learned/remembered Al-Quran by heart) and they are publishing his work online via mobile App 'IshaatulHadith': Available in Android and iOS stores.

Books:

Hafiz Zubair Alizai had written more than 100 books. Sixty five (65) of them had been published in his life under his supervision. The remaining going to be published soon.

Hafiz Zubair Alizai naive language was "Hindko". He learned 7 other languages. He was very fluent in Pashto speaking.

Education:

Hafiz Zubair Alizai took formal/basic education in his paternal village (now it's a town) and did his masters in Islamic Education and Arabic Literature from the University of Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan.

He got the opportunity to learn from the following teachers (asatiza, shuyookhs) and he always took their name with utmost respect and appraisal.

He was so blessed that these teachers (shuyookh) felt proud and praised him as well.

Work:

Hafiz Zubair Alizai devoted his life to the research of Authentic Hadith (Sahih Hadith) and was a living example of acting upon them.

During this journey, he had written many books both in Arabic and Urdu. (you can find these books on this web page)

His main interests were Asma ur Rijal.

Whenever anybody misinterpreted and wrote against Sunnah (Sahih Hadith), he responded to them without any bias which ultimately guided many people on the righteous path.

He started publishing a monthly magazine by the name of 'Ishaatul Hadith' since 2004 A.D .'Ishaatul Hadith' was a short but comprehensive Islamic magazine where his principles of understanding of Islam (Quran,Hadith,Ijma) were obvious from every single article he had written.

After reading his books and articles and listening to his lectures people around the world called him, Al-shaikh, Almuhaddis, Alfaqeeh, al-imam, al-Hafiz.

Death:

Hafiz Zubair Alizai died on the 10th of November 2013 after short admission in Benazir Bhutto Hospital Rawalpindi, Pakistan and the cause of his death was lung failure.
