Sheikh Zubair Alizai

Introduction:

Shaykh al-Islām al-Hafiz Abi-Muaz Zubair Alizai (Rahimahullah) was born on June 25, 1957 A.D (Zul Qada 27th, 1376 Hijri A.H) in the small village of Pirdad in Punjab, Pakistan.
His ancestors hailed from Ghazni, Afghanistan, and they belonged to the renowned Pashtun tribe Alizai. As a result, he acquired the surname Alizai.
In 1982, he entered into marriage and was blessed by Allah (S.W.T) with three sons and four daughters.
His sons, Abdullah Saqib and Muaz Bin Zubair, have become Huffaz-e-Quran, which means they have memorized the entire Quran. They are actively involved in publishing their father's work online through the mobile app 'IshaatulHadith,' which is available for download on the Android store.

Education:

Shaykh Zubair Alizai received his primary education in his paternal village, which has now transformed into a town. He pursued higher education and earned a Master's degree in Islamic Education and Arabic Literature from the University of Punjab in Lahore, Pakistan.
Shaykh al-Islām Zubair Alizai had the privilege to learn from esteemed teachers (asatiza, shuyookhs) whom he held in high regard and always mentioned their names with utmost respect and appreciation.

He wrote and researched over 120 books, with half of them yet to be published.
